How do I schedule a free exploratory session?

Please complete the exploratory call contact form - you will input your best contact information, once received, a follow-up response will be sent regarding scheduling a time that works best for you.

What can I expect from an exploratory session?

The initial free exploratory session is 30-45 minutes and is limited to one per person. During this conversation our goal is to get to know each other better, talk through some ideas on what you desire coaching on and experience an abbreviated coaching session. If you desire to continue our coaching relationship, we will schedule a separate time to discuss that process - there is no pressure to make that decision on the spot; I want to make sure that our continued coaching relationship is mutual and grounded in choice. With that said, I do ask that if you do need more time to make a decision that you follow up within 7 calendar days to let me know if you’d like to continue coaching with me.

Where will my coaching sessions take place and how long will they be?

Coaching sessions take place virtually, during a mutually agreed upon time, over Zoom, Google Meet or a phone call. Sessions will be approximately 55 minutes long.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Though my educational and career experience is steeped in mental health and counseling; as a Coach, I am not working in that capacity and more importantly, I must note - Coaching is NOT therapy.

While therapy is often rooted in understanding and processing past experiences, coaching is focused on your present behaviors and future changes in your actions.

Some reasons that folks may seek coaching:

  • they have a desire to change something that is creating tension or frustrations in their lives

  • they desire more alignment of their core beliefs and values to other areas of their lives

  • they have challenges with interpersonal relationships and seek to improve their boundaries with others

  • they desire support with making decisions about career and/or life transitions.

What you bring to each coaching session may vary each session or you might find that you want to work through one specific thing over the course of several sessions. The beauty of coaching is that you can decide what is a priority for you.

What can I expect in a coaching session and relationship?

Each session can vary depending on what you desire to be coached on - you may desire to work on a specific topic or various over the course of several sessions. Our coaching relationship will be grounded in respect, with intention, choice and forward movement. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you.
